    • Also called Golden Snapper, Zapata morisca, Chacarona morena or Zapatilla. It is a white or semi-fatty saltwater fish . It belongs to the Sparidae family. They normally live in groups in banks in shallow waters with sandy or rocky bottoms, between 5 and 30 m deep, although they can reach up to 150 m. during the breeding season.
