Shrimp

Its color is normally translucent white, but it can change depending on the substrate, the food and the turbidity of the water. The Pacific white shrimp is the main species of the Litopenaeus family cultivated on the Ecuadorian coast, of which 95% of the production belongs to the Litopenaeus vannamei species, considered one of the most resistant to environmental changes during development in captivity.
Uses:
It is used to prepare various dishes, among the most notable are rice with seafood, shrimp soup, ceviche, among others.
